Andy Pink began work at the Royal Court Theatre and went on to work with Lumiere & Son and Station House Opera.
His broad range of assignments include work with English National Opera, Royal Shakespeare Company and the first Native American Fashion Showcase at The Museum of Fine Arts, Santa Fe.
In 2004 Andy composed the soundscore for Bird Song for Siobhan Davies Dance, touring internationally and later becoming part of the successful bid for the London Olympics via the Tate's 40 Artists 40 Days.
In 2005 he composed music for Imperial Borders, part of Mavin Khoo's Chandra Luna, designed the sound for Adam Cooper's Les Liaisons Dangereuse in Japan, worked on a new R.O.H commission with Mem Morrison and collaborated with Gerry Pilgrim's Corridor group on a site specific work in Soho's Marshall Street swimming baths.
In 2006/7 Andy collaborated with composers Will Todd and Ben Dunwell on the soundscore for the opera Whirlwind. The year also included writing the music for the launch of Mazda's new MX5 for The Imagination Group whilst Bird Song was chosen as part of the national curriculum for GCSE dance. Leftovers, a sound installation with Mem Morrison, took place in choice greasy spoon cafes throughout 2007/8.
In 2008 Andy worked with Michael Clark Company on The Stravinsky Project which toured internationally and wrote the music and designed the sound for SALT, an installation in a disused salt factory for the Ruhr Triennale.
Andy collaborated with The Mem Morrison Company on Ringside in 2009, touring to Asia and Australia. More recently Andy composed the music for Protein Dance's 'LOL (Lots of Love)' which has been nominated for several dance awards and is touring throughout 2011. 'LOL (Lots of Love)' will go to China, India, Russia and Europe in 2012. A CD has recently been released of LOL's music. Other recent composition projects include 'Journeys of Love and More Love' for Moti Roti Company, playing at the Melbourne Festival and Singapore National Museum.
